This is a special distinction and an important gesture of support for us. We are deeply grateful for the trust placed in us and for recognising the significance of our Festival for the development of puppet theatre in Poland and worldwide.

The upcoming 31st edition will have a truly exceptional character. We will be celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the Festival’s founding and of its presence on the world map of cultural events, and at the same time it will form part of the programme for the year in which Bielsko-Biała becomes Poland’s Capital of Culture.
